Hamfests - Old & New Stuff For Any Ham Radio Buff
GLH-09 Sneak Peek

This year we have some changes. The biggest change is with indoor spaces. All spaces are $10 with or without a table. There is no longer a separate price for commercial vendors because our show is getting so big we cannot fit all the commercial vendors along the walls. They will, however, keep their chosen areas of the past. That means The Ham Station will be where they always are and so will other commercial vendors who had previous locations at the show. Complete space and setup details.

We have a new ticket drum. We know you weren't happy with the old one where the tickets stuck to the sides. We didn't like it either. Our new clear acrylic drum makes it easier to see all the tickets and none get stuck.

We're also gearing up to have more staff outside selling tickets, weather permitting. Ticket purchases went much smoother last year with more sellers outside and we will continue that practice.

Prices are the same as last year. There will be WCARS Amateur license testing and ladies BINGO. Concessions are courtesy of Paroquet Springs Conference Centre and there will be tables and chairs this year. Forums will include ARRL and 3960 Group. The New Hams Forum returns. And there will be an Antenna Forum this year, which we are sure will be very informative.

Once again, we are preparing for a fun hamfest. We hope you will join us!

If you have any thoughts, comments, ideas or criticisms about last year's show, please let us know. Our goal is to make our show better and more fun each year.
