National Geographic Ads

I was just wondering if you knew anything or knew any place that could tell me about the value of National Geographic Coca-Cola ads years ranging from 1934 to 1964. If you could give me any information on this I would greatly appreciate it. Thank You! Another Coke Fan, Margaret

One of the best sources for finding out about the values of items not listed in books is, believe it or not, eBay. It's a way to get an idea of what people are selling items for and how much they will pay for them. Many National Geographic ads for Coca-Cola are listed there, with many of them listed from $3.50 to $5. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be much interest in these ads. Of course, the market is always changing.
The thing is, you never know what collectors may want. Some ads may be unique or have something special in them that other ads don't. The value of these is really based on the individual collectors. Keep your ads in good shape and if someone finds something specific to their interest, they will buy it. Flea markets are a good place to sell them.
