Circa 1989. The hobbleskirt bottle patent was renewed on December 25, 1923. Thus the Christmas bottle was born. It is sought after by many collectors. The bottle were produced from 1924 through 1937.

I wondered why this bottle was in such good shape, but now I know. It is actually a reproduction. It was made in San Antonio, Texas in 1989. The numbers 89 7 14 on the bottle and the boat anchor symbol indicating the bottling company Anchor Hocking tell the tale. Luckily I got this with some other real bottles at a low price. Since i was just looking for the piece, the repro is fine in my book, but it is something collectors should be aware of. I was not.
