Towed behind a motorboat, the aquaplane shown here allowed almost anyone to experience the exhilaration of water skiing. Artist Bradshaw Crandall is given credit for creating this 1922 free-standing, tri-fold, cardboard cutout which would have been displayed in soda fountain windows. One can just imagine consumers pausing to admire this delightful scene and then entering the soda fountain for a drink of Coca-Cola.
