Built in 1989, the Flatiron building at 179 Edgewood Avenue, Atlanta, Georgia, was the seventh home of The Coca-Cola Company, with Pemberton's home being the first. At the dedication ceremonies, Company President Asa Candler said the building "was sufficient for all our needs for all time to come." Despite that grandiose prediction, it took only ten years for The Coca-Cola Company to outgrow the facility.
